Remember the famous breast cones worn by Madonna in 1984 or the cage dress worn by Grace Jones at the height of her notoriety?

These were but a few of the famous designs created by Jean Paul Gaultier and featured as part of his fast paced retrospective during his 30th anniversary Spring 2007 show in Paris.

Jean Paul Gaultier launched his career with biker jackets and studded black underwear that was worn as outerwear.

Also featured in this retrospective were high-heel rubber flippers, sequined camouflage evening wear, a satin bustier, a tartan jacket with shoulders so wide that it could barely make it through a door.

Visually addressing the controversy surrounding banning size 0 models from runway fashion shows, Jean Paul featured a size 20 plus model in his collection.

The Paris based American actress and plus size model Velvet d'Amour walked down the catwalk in sexy black stocking and corset design.
